Walk, widow, wallow kiss goodbye the summer breeze time will take us, by and by, time will show us all that we can be. Hop, bitter hollow, to the two-step of the leaves-- the one that makes them bleed and fall, the other brings us crawling on our knees.

about

This album was recorded in a bedroom while living with a girlfriend in a tiny apartment on Cleveland St. in Richmond, Virginia. I suppose it was inspired by the Canada Goose--a species that, while traditionally migratory, has taken up year-round residence in the rivers and artificial ponds throughout the lower Chesapeake Bay watershed. I like to think they're here to protest environmental policy in Washington, but who knows.
